This is always one of my favorite festivals that Insomniac Events has! This year the festival is changing locations to Glen Helen Regional Park (next to the Amphitheater) for two days of fun September 15 and 16th, 2017. The event is three days for those of you that are camping. Camping will once again offer Silent Disco parties.
Insomniac announced the lineup today, including artists such as Excision, Goldfish, Sacha Robotti, Snails, Unlike Pluto, Will Clarke, Zomboy and many others. This seems to be moving away from a lot of the main stream performers that we’ve seen as of late. There’s been a lot of negative reaction, but to be honest I welcome the change! There are SO many events that happen during the year and a lot with the same artists, that it loses its luster. The fun of festivals for me is experiencing new things and being open minded to it all.
Pasquale Rotella, Insomniac Founder and CEO, wants to reimagine the festival, limit the capacity, enhance the environmental design, and focus on new music discovery and curation.
