I’ve said it time and time again; Nocturnal Wonderland is my favorite festival. There is something about the vibes there that every time I leave, I am glowing. Pasquale and the Insomniac team yet again managed to give us all a great experience!!
This year the 22nd event was held at the Glen Helen Regional Park with over 45,000 people! It featured four stages: Temple Noctum , Sunken Garden, Labyrinth and Wolves Den. The music all around was phenomenal! My schedule was planned out, but I honestly will say I threw it out after walking around some! I let my ears be my schedule. Some highlights night 1 for me included: Bijou, Lo’99, Will Clarke, Goldfish, Vindata, Autograf, and Snails! I was supposed to make it to Dillon Francis for closing, and heard DJ Snake made an appearance, but only heard the roar of the crowd as we were leaving the first night.

I thought the first night was tough for a schedule, night 2 was even worse! It was SO difficult for me to leave sets because everyone was on point!!! Some of my favs that night included: Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs DJ Set, Sub Focus, Spock, Unlike Pluto, Dr. Fresch, Valentino Khan, Keys N Krates, and Excision.
I said it before I even saw the lineup, that no matter what, I knew I would have a great time. When the lineup came out there were so many negative comments, and to those of you that didn’t go, you missed out! Hands down this had some of THE best music!

The venue was laid out perfectly! One moment I would be enjoying shuffling at Sunken Garden, and the next could take a break on the hill there and watch the entire festival in its glory. Walking around I got to interact with the performers, take in the art work being done live, walk through the blacklight tunnel, and take lots of pictures for everlasting memories! One surprise I loved was the Corona Beach stage, you never knew who was going to be there, and definitely got lost in there a few times!!

I met SO many incredible people at the event, but the cherry on the top was when we got to meet the creator of this beautiful experience, Pasquale Rotella. It was such an honor to meet him and let him know that Neon Owl fully supports what he does, and how much we love all the charity work he does since it is our focus as well. Not only does he create this world for us to play in, but he gives back to the community. Thank you for having us!!
