Maryn and AXYL take us on a dreamy journey with their SECOND collab together: “Anywhere”!

With only 5 years of music production under his belt, Maryn demonstrates his prowess as one of the fastest-climbing trance artists. With over a million streams on his track “Chasing The Light”, a remix with Blasterjaxx, and music supported by Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Afrojack, Nicky Romero and more, I just love his story of how he found himself in a successfully growing musical career and find it both inspiring and encouraging for producers of all levels.

Maryn has always had a love for electronic music and has been surrounded by music for most of his life. But turns out even though he attended Royal Conservatoire school of music and dance in the Netherlands, he actually was at first on the track to pursue dance as a career! Having a musical background was invaluable at the school and students had to pick up an instrument. So, he started learning the piano and this became the first stepping stone in his musical career before he even knew at the time.

With as little as 5 years of work as a DJ and music producer, Maryn continues to be persistent in all avenues whether it’s connecting with other artists big or small, sending demos, or getting heard in the industry. He shared with us on Open Door Sessions Mastermind his belief that, “If you keep the fire going, it will eventually happen sometime, some place, somehow.”

Maryn’s most recent release, “Anywhere”, is one that he holds close to his heart. Not only does the main instrumental melody tie back to his past with his acoustic piano, but he was also ecstatic having another opportunity to collaborate with vocalist AXYL after they had just successfully released “Downfall” on Enhanced Recordings that went over 450,000 streams on Spotify. After sending her the track, AXYL was able to bring the breakdown to life, adding the perfect touch of emotion, bliss and euphoria in her voice. “Anywhere” is out now on Andrew Rayel’s Find Your Harmony so be sure to give it a listen!
