As per usual, it’s always a riot sitting down with one of our faves, Jordan Suckley. Being no stranger to Neon Owl and Open Door Sessions, it was amazing to finally see him on the decks of one of our favorite festivals ever. Jordan shared with us what he’s been focusing on over the last 2 years during the pandemic, which has been a huge change of pace for him since he has been touring since 2009. He has been putting a lot more focus on creating music consistently and will spend 5-8 hours a day in the studio.
We all know that Jordan’s a savage on the decks and takes great pride in his DJ skills (he even taught a scratching lesson at Neon Owl’s Open Door Sessions a few years back). So it was interesting to hear that he started to enjoy producing even more than DJing for a moment during the pandemic. Watch the full interview to learn more about his techno alias Chester Cat which is in the works of making a comeback. You can also catch the not so surprising 3 items he would bring onto a deserted island.
