Picture this: Exo, with his beats echoing through the air, thought he had time he saved to drop his favorite song, only to be hit with the revelation that his time was up! Talk about a musical cliffhanger. But fear not, because Egzod treated the audience at Insomniac’s Countdown NYE to some unreleased gems, giving us a sneak peek into what’s in store for the coming year.

Let’s unravel the mystery behind Egzod‘s stage name – as it’s not just a random assortment of letters. “Egzod” stands for “Exodus” in French, capturing the essence of escaping to a whole new world through music. Our Portuguese-French artist draws inspiration from the French music scene, particularly the French touch, though he admits the electronic music culture can be a tad conservative. Some artists pack their bags and head to the US for greener pastures.

Egzod‘s musical journey started when he was only 12, where he discovered the magical world of DJing. Fast forward to today, and his tunes have become the anthem for the gaming community, racking up streams faster very rapidly.

Collaborating with NCS label was a game-changer, allowing YouTubers and Twitch creators to have his music in their content, contributing to the stream counts. With a remix from Don Diablo, and an official remix for Alan Walker, he isn’t slowing down any time soon. He’s ready to take on 2024, promising more music and shows.

Egzod gave us a sneak peek on upcoming projects he has in the works, such as his release with Lost In Dreams (OUT NOW!), and a rendezvous with Synymata in March. And that’s not all – there are some secret projects simmering in the background, teasing us with the promise of more music on the way.

The countdown to the next adventure has officially begun!
