Under the Lights

What an amazing two day festival, Phoenix Lights, by Relentless Beats, which was held in Chandler, Arizona at the Rawhide Western Town & Event Center. There was a last minute venue change a few days before the event, and honestly I couldn’t even tell. Shuttles were provided for those that had all their plans based around the event being in downtown Phoenix. Everything seemed to run smoothly, people were smiling and dancing all through the day into the night.

I wasn’t sure what to expect as I had never been to a festival in Arizona. Definitely impressive! The energy, the décor, the people… there was nothing but positivity around. The one thing I noticed was how helpful and friendly the staff was: guiding festival goers to various stages, providing water to those getting too hot under the sun, and even spraying people to keep the festival goers cool! The festival goers are always one of my favorite things, seeing old friends, connecting with new ones, nothing beats those memories.

I cannot get over the variety of music during Phoenix Lights.  I honestly had SUCH a hard time deciding what stage I wanted to spend my time at. Typically I go into a festival with a schedule, but I tried hard to not do that this time and see where my adventure would take me!  So many great sets, with some of my favs including Tchami, K?D at the Mothership, Helena Legend, Bro Safari, Unlike Pluto and Ganja White Night at the Invision Stage. The Colony had amazing sets, I was in heaven with Pete Tong just playing beyond his set time because he saw how much we were all loving his energy!!

All in all I had an incredibly amazing time and anyone who gets a chance should go to Phoenix Lights next year!  Thanks again to the Relentless Beats team for the opportunity!  You guys throw a great event!
