Los Angeles-based event company, HARD Events, has just announced its new sub-brand, HARD Selects. The multi-genre juggernaut of a brand is spreading its wings to shine a light on the underground music community and culture of Los Angeles artists.
With the ever-growing spotlight on mainstream media within Los Angeles, HARD has continued to innovate and highlight the underground roots of music, aiming to shed light on authentic dance floor experiences. HARD Selects focuses on the culture of the underground and embodies the passion that comes with making and playing music for genuine fans.
The announcement of HARD Selects also marks the announcement of its first event, a partnership with DJ Heartstring and their party brand, Teenage Dreams. An event series and label from Berlin, Germany, Teenage Dreams is a party brand that is the epitome of what HARD Selects is trying to capture–genuine enjoyment of the music. The event will be taking place on November 9th, 2024 at the SUPER-MRKT, a venue repurposed from a former grocery store in the heart of Los Angeles.
Teenage Dreams will feature artists such as Boyz Noise, Patrick Mason, DJ Heartstring, and more. In the coming weeks, HARD Selects will be announcing a series of events in partnership with key promoters from the LA underground, celebrating sounds from the global scene.
Along with live events, HARD Selects is showcasing a series of hosted DJ set streams, in partnership with Goyo Club, an epic LA multi-media source. HARD will be taking over Goyo Club’s Electric Cleaners series, but continuing their mission of transforming a Koreatown laundromat into a new world for electronic music experimentation. Bianca Oblivion B2B Star Eyes, Trax Unit, and more are set to perform in the upcoming months.
