GRUM, aka Graeme Shepherd, is a progressive and trance producer from Scotland. This is his 3rd Groove Cruise and he gets into his experiences on them with Elaine from Neon Owl.
GRUM hints that this year is open ended as an artist and he is excited to see it unfold, just as he did with his B2B with Genix on the Deep State Stage on Groove Cruise. Speaking of his Deep State Label, Elaine and GRUM get into the purpose for why he started the label, and what he looks for in the artists he signs to the label. A big key for him? Having their own unique sound. More details in the interview.
As for his career, Grum drills down into the challenges he’s had in his career, and advice he would have given his younger self. He also empathizes with where new artists are on their pathway, and focuses on some key advice for them to grow, and most importantly enjoy it along the way.
To wrap up, Elaine asked Grum the Neon Owl classic interview questions around sailing the ship and where it should be, and what and who you would bring on a deserted island. Make sure to watch the interview to check out their answers!
