Bougenvilla are a dutch DJ and production duo composed of Shedifa and Jeremy that focus on infusing eastern influences into their music like their track “Nyma”. Even with this influence, the duo spans quite a few house music genres and really focuses on getting the dance floor moving whatever way they can. In fact, their latest release from January 2023 is actually a cover from the Classic Rock band The Doobie Brothers. The track “Long Train” (featuring Chris Alain) on Spinnin’ Records, has an extremely groovy guitar and bassline that just won’t stop.

For now we look back on the interview that was done at ADE where Collin Oliver and his father sat down with Bougenvilla. The interview dives into how the music industry is changing so much, how tracks are decreasing in length, and how much people are consuming music.
Bougenvilla also goes through all their releases, what they are up to and talks about all the gyrations of sounds they have tried before. They further went into how they split the DJ, production, and mixing duties.
Outside the production scene, they dive into how their trip and writing camps in Bali have affected their trajectory, sound, and songs overall. If you’re looking to see more of their conversation and know more about how they tackled their time at ADE then give the interview a watch!
