Weathering the Storm (and Bouncing Back)
The unpredictability of Hurricane Helen didn’t deter the Breakaway family. Festival organizers, artists, and the crowd all played their part to make sure the show went on, adjusting plans and taking safety precautions to keep the vibe alive. Rain or shine, the energy was relentless, with fans wearing ponchos, huddling together under tarps, and turning rainy moments into spontaneous dance sessions. It was proof that the spirit of Breakaway is unbreakable, and the determination to keep the music going was felt at every corner of the festival.
Viewing Areas and Immersive Experiences
Breakaway always ensures that its fans get the best possible experience, and this year was no different. Elevated viewing platforms provided unparalleled views of headliners like Marshmello, Alesso, and FISHER, making every moment feel larger than life. For those seeking a more relaxed vibe, cozy lounge spots allowed fans to catch a breath between sets, offering a perfect balance of energy and comfort. The Ultra VIP terrace was the ultimate way to watch the action unfold, complete with a drink in hand and the perfect vantage point to soak in all the magic.
The festival grounds themselves were visually stunning, with vibrant stage designs and immersive lighting, electrifying the nights. When FISHER dropped his signature house bangers, being up on the viewing platforms made the entire experience feel monumental, with the crowd’s energy surging like waves below.

Bars, Shops, and Unforgettable Brand Experiences
Breakaway brought more than just music—it brought an experience that extended well beyond the stages. The festival’s bars were vibrant pop-up hotspots where even the act of getting a drink felt like part of the celebration. Craft cocktails, ice-cold beers, and classic margaritas flowed freely, while the bartenders kept the party vibe alive with their enthusiasm.
The interactive shops added a whole new dimension to the festival experience. The Shein pop-up was an instant hit, with festival-goers flocking to grab the latest trendy outfits right in the middle of all the action. Zyn also had a presence, hosting challenges and engaging activities that kept the crowd entertained between sets. These interactive moments were the kind of thoughtful touches that made Breakaway feel like more than just a music festival—it felt like an all-encompassing experience.
Sponsors this year truly stepped up to enhance the festival experience. From energy drinks from Celsi that kept everyone fueled for the long nights, to sunblock stations that made sure we stayed safe when the clouds parted, every detail was carefully considered. The partnerships with both local and national brands ensured that festival-goers had everything they needed, making the entire weekend feel effortless and well-supported.
