We had the honor to catch up with Nikademis, also known as Nick Liuzzi, during Gold Rush Music Festival. We last got the chance to speak with him at Groove Cruise this past January, and it has been astonishing to watch his growth as an artist and as a person since the beginning of this year. His slot at Gold Rush was his biggest Arizona festival/Relentless Beats booking yet.
Luzzi hails from Long Island and has been producing music since he was just 15-years old, pushing the boundaries of bass music with his classic touches. Releasing official remixes for the likes of Illenium, Big Gigantic, SLANDER, and more, Nikademis is quickly rising to a household name.
We got the chance to branch out and learn more about the why behind Nikademis, not just the how. He has overcome and shown so much more resiliency than people would expect and has a story many of his fans can relate to–using music as a healing mechanism in his life.
“ I was someone who was down and out…I had these serious chronic conditions, my lung collapsed…I had 5 surgeries between junior and senior year…I want people to know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel if you keep a positive attitude and believe you are going to be the next day, You can make something great out of the toughest times. ”
“If Tomorrow Never Happens” is Nikademis’s biggest collaboration yet, dropping in July of this year with bass music juggernauts SLANDER and Poo Bear on vocals. While a huge accomplishment in his career, this release is just the beginning. Nikademis has been putting in the work for years and is starting to make a name for himself along the way.

Fresh off an opening performance for Subtronics in Atlantic City and performances with yetep coming up on his ‘The Commonunity Tour’ there is no stopping Nikademis from moving forward.
