Brownies and Lemonade took NYC by storm on September 27, 2024, delivering an unforgettable night of music in a truly unique setting—under the iconic ‘K Bridge’ in Brooklyn, New York. This one-night-only event was a bass-lover’s dream, headlined by heavyweights Alison Wonderland and Madeon, with stellar support from FrostTop, Wavedash, and JAWNS. Special guests Camo & Krooked, Mefjus, and Daxta MC amped up the energy with their drum and bass grooves, providing an explosive night of hard trap, house, techno, breaks, future bass, and dubstep.
Brownies and Lemonade, originally hailing from Southern California, has built a reputation for championing both established icons and rising stars. Known for their secret lineups and unforgettable shows, they’ve thrown flagship events like RATTLESHIP, legendary warehouse raves, and pop-ups at Dave & Buster’s. They’ve also curated stages at major festivals, like Breakaway, and hosted events under their “DNBNL” imprint, proving time and again that they’re experts at selling out exciting, high-energy experiences.
The atmosphere was top-notch, and the perfect fall weather added to the magic. The industrial backdrop of the bridge, along with the festival-like production and comfortable spacing to roam around the venue made it feel like something truly special. Brownies and Lemonade spared no expense in creating a visual spectacle, with massive LED screens, CO2 blasts, and a plethora of lasers cutting through the night. Food trucks, drink stands, and a buzzing crowd brought a festival feel, right in the heart of the city.
A standout moment was when Brownies and Lemonade surprised headliner Alison Wonderland with a birthday celebration that had the entire crowd singing Happy Birthday to her—just another example of the heart and community the brand fosters at their events.
Each artist on the lineup brought their own unique flair. Formal kicked off the night with a groovy blend of UK garage and dubstep, setting the tone for what was to come. FrostTop followed, delivering chilling trap and hardwave that had the crowd buzzing. JAWNS kept the momentum with a gritty, four-on-the-floor trap set, before Wavedash took over with their nostalgic, high-energy sound. Camo & Krooked, Mefjus, and Daxta MC brought the heat with groovy and gritty drum and bass.
Amongst all the acts, Madeon stole the show in our opinion. Known for his emotional, melodic sets, he stunned the audience with a surprise infusion of drum and bass and filthy dubstep. Alison Wonderland, the birthday queen herself, closed the night with mesmerizing visuals and her signature mix of emotion and energy, bringing the evening to a euphoric close.
This wasn’t just a night of music; it was a full-on experience. If you missed it, make sure to go to the next one! Brownies and Lemonade never disappoints, and their shows are the kind of events you’ll be talking about for years. From top-tier production to carefully curated lineups, they know exactly how to throw a party, and “Under the K Bridge” was no exception. Don’t miss their next event!
